US will not open door to Saudi Arabia building nuclear weapons, deputy energy secretary says

It isn't wanting to sell nuclear power to the Saudis. That makes sense. It is when and how I found wellllll a little odd.

Odd for sure SAT re: homosexuality...he is of German decent

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Trump
Friedrich Trump was born in Kallstadt, Palatinate, then part of the Kingdom of Bavaria (located in modern-day Germany

The immigration records list his name as Friedr. Trumpf.[17][18][19] The 1910 United States census lists his name as Fred Trump [Friedrich (Drumpf) Trump]. [20] According to the German Gesellschaft für Computergenealogie, Trump's earliest known male ancestor was Johann Paul Trump (1727–1792) in Bobenheim am Berg.[4] The story of an itinerant lawyer Hanns Drumpf presented by Gwenda Blair in her book The Trumps (2000) who settled in Kallstadt in 1608 and whose descendants changed their name from Drumpf to Trump during the Thirty Years' War of the 1600s[21][22] could not be substantiated and is not in accordance with the data provided by the German genealogists.[4] Journalist Kate Connolly, visiting Kallstadt, found several variations in spelling of the surname in the village archives (including Drumb, Tromb, Tromp, Trum, Trumpff, Dromb) but her article does not note "Drumpf".[23]

      True.
Pure speculation ?? I can't help but wonder if he is trying to change his image in Europe???? Especially Germany. Not only because he is German background, but because Germans, of all Europeans have the lowest opinion of him. And from what VP Pence stated they want Europe to follow Pres. Trump's lead as he will bring "peace and security".

got me. I don't know what the views of his base are either. Would they get apprehensive about his direction??? A few are that far right. The "Democrat ???"thing still seems to be in the background.

But it is weird as that is something Obama/UN spent money to promote as well.

Wow is all I have to say...
            https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Grenell

In September 2017, President Donald Trump nominated Grenell to become the United States Ambassador to Germany.
After a significant delay, the Senate confirmed Grenell 56–42 on April 26, 2018.[22]He was sworn in by Vice President Mike Pence on May 7, 2018, making Grenell the highest-ranking openly gay official ever in a Republican administration.[23][24] Grenell was also under consideration for the posts of U.S. Ambassador to NATOand United States Ambassador to the United Nations.[25][26]
