Yep, I've believed this as well - for years; and it's why I pay no attention whatsoever to all the fear-mongering surrounding electronic pulse attacks that would supposedly send entire cities back to pre-electricity days. That's just not possible, with what scripture says will be going on. Just because America isn't in biblical prophecy (my belief) it will still be a nation of people that the AC will need to control. I somehow doubt all 350 million ppl will all be completely wiped out.

I was surprised to see him speak out so openly. Surprised about his boldness...he is very close to Putin.

Patriarch Kirill is close to Russian president Vladimir Putin, who participates in big Church celebrations and has gone on pilgrimages to Mount Athos and other famous Orthodox sites. Many Russian Orthodox priests closely identify with President Putin's nationalist agenda.

At a time when internet freedoms are increasingly restricted in Russia - and authorities are reportedly attempting to create an independent Russian internet - this closeness led some to accuse Patriarch Kirill of lending government policy divine authority.

The weird thing??? The church has been encouraging those in the pews to support/elect Putin as he is fighting the US.
