  • Instrument of 10 strings Psalm 32 92 144

I always wondered what that was! Today I saw the latest issue of *The metropolitan museum of art* Summer 2018... It showcases all kinds of very old musical instruments... Three of them caught my eye...

One had a body like a model ship hull with a single curved mast as high as the ship was long at the bow, about 3 or 4 feet. it sat in a cradle. The longest of 12 strings started about six inches from the stern, and was tied halfway up the mast, with the extra string of all the strings hanging straight down the mast almost to the ship hull with tassels at the end.... the ship body had two holes in it and acted as an echo drum I guess.. all beautifully decorated...

The second was a triangular box maybe two inches thick, three or so feet long with about ten strings an inch or so above the body...

the third was a *X* shaped harp with a double set of strings... All the exhibits were really awesome, new condition, though quite old.
Working...
