Trump also said Putin was a strong supporter of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but did not offer any specifics on what was discussed that related to Israel at the meeting in Helsinki, where Iran's presence in Syria had been widely expected to be a main topic of conversation between the two world leaders.
"We came to a lot of good conclusions. A really good conclusion for Israel. Something very strong," Trump told Fox News, without going into detail.
Trump said Putin was "a believer in Israel."

There is something highly fascinating that seems to be appearing. A clue to add to the other clues, and it is actually from Putin's words and the fact Trump is in agreement with Putin.

Also crushing (ph) terrorists in the southwest of Syria. The south of Syria should be brought to the full compliance with the treaty of 1974, about the separation of forces -- about separation of forces of Israel and Syria. This will bring peace to Golan Heights, and bring more peaceful relationship between Syria and Israel, and also to provide security of the state of Israel.
Mr. President paid special attention to the issue during today's negotiations. And I would like to confirm that Russia is interested in this development and will act accordingly.

Thus far, we will make a step toward creating a lasting peace in compliance with the respective resolutions of Security Council, for instance, the Resolution 338.
