US Embassy: Image of Jewish Temple 'thrust in front' of envoy Friedman for photo

    "
Ambassador Friedman was not aware of the image thrust in front of him when the photo was taken," the US embassy in Jerusalem said in a statement. "He was deeply disappointed that anyone would take advantage of his visit to Bnei Brak to create controversy. The US policy is absolutely clear we support the status quo on the Haram al-Sharif/Temple Mount."

    And again today.

Friedman 'more mortified than any Palestinian' by Jerusalem Temple pic

US ambassador assures American support for status quo at holy sites unchanged; insists that nobody's done more for Palestinians than Washington
    "
The US has given over $5 billion to the Palestinians since the 1990s. There is no country that comes close in financial aid and to trying to help the Palestinians build better lives," Friedman says.
US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman tells Hadashot news that he was "more mortified than any Palestinian" by the doctored aerial image of Jerusalem, in which the Dome of the Rock was replaced by a Jewish Temple, that he was photographed in front of on Tuesday.

Friedman calls the incident an "unfortunate thing" and said "he felt terrible that people might react to that the way they did."

      What the US is saying...

US ambassador assures American support for status quo at holy sites unchanged; insists that nobody's done more for Palestinians than Washington

Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty is a "model for coexistence" among the three major monotheistic religions, the US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said Monday.

What some of the right wing Jews believe...the key word is believe..they actually acknowledge this is because of their end time beliefs of what happens.

Trump, his religious supporters argue, is perfectly cast in the role of a powerful historical figure who is neither a God nor a messiah nor even a believer himself. Like Cyrus, they say, he is a tough leader fighting on the side of the righteous, an instrument used by God to serve His master plan. And the plan as they see it: to build the Third Temple on the Temple Mount-where the Al-Aqsa Mosque currently stands.

What I find the most fascinating about this??? Some Jews are expecting a revival as the Temple has been built the messiah comes, and at the exact same time some Christians are expecting a revival.

'We're an honest broker,' says US envoy to Israel from his new Jerusalem office

America wants a better future for the Palestinians, Friedman says.
Although the United States is "incredibly close" to Israel, it is nonetheless "an honest broker" in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said Wednesday, and added that he was "pretty confident" that President Donald Trump could bring the parties to a peace deal.

Interviewed on Israeli television's Hadashot news in his new office at the embassy in Jerusalem, Friedman said he believed the Palestinian leadership "will have no choice but to pursue" the much-hyped Trump peace plan if the proposal can offer a better future, more optimistic, more promising future to the Palestinian people."

Sources say Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblat are briefing various partners on the plan's details and aim to roll it out after Ramadan

David Friedman spoke with Israeli media at the new U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem on Wednesday. He said the plan will be launched "within months" but had no exact date.

What gives it credence??? The number of sources.

Earlier the AP quoted five US officials and a congressional aide as saying that the administration intends to release the peace plan in mid-to late-June, shortly after the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan,
          And previous reports
