  • !! Middle East and Russian Tensions !!

There are (and will be) a lot of reports coming out of this region. I'd like to suggest we put them all in one thread.

Any US missiles fired at Syria will be shot down, launch sites targeted

    https://www.rt.com/news/423774-us-mi...rgeted-russia/

Understand this is Russian Times (RT) but this is not only a defensive treat (shoot down any incoming missiles) but offensive (sites targeted)

Reports say high-level Russian delegation arrives in Syria

Russian state news agencies are reporting that a high-level Russian delegation has arrived in Syria where it is going to meet with President Bashar Assad.

The visit that RIA Novosti and TASS report on Wednesday comes amid growing expectation of US retaliation against Syria for a suspected chemical weapons attack on a rebel-held town.

A lot of time to prepare and protect...

Syrian military transfer to Russian bases amid concern over US strike, reports

The Syrian military is said to be evacuating its bases near the Lebanon border and transporting its personnel to Russian army sites amid growing concern over an imminent US strike, an expected reprisal for the alleged chemical attack carried out by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday.

        https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/inter...strike-reports

Something interesting that I suspect could be true??? There are a few articles out there that are still stating "If". Something doesn't add up here. What must the allies be thinking after Pres. Trump gave Syria/ Russia/Iran such a long warning time???
The heads up should cause it to be postponed???
And I just can't see western military minds agreeing to getting into it with the Russians by bombing their bases.

and then there is prophecy....if all out war broke out then that would mean the west lost as Russia, Iran etc. must be in Syria????

        Attacking Israel???
Israel on High Alert, Prepares for Possible Iranian Retaliation After Strike on Syrian Base
        https://wedg.millenniumweekend.org/f...an-retaliation

That doesn't make sense either as we already know it will be God and Israel alone. The west will not be there or protect Israel And a surprise....
which bring me think, this will lead to a time when Russia and Iran will be left alone in Syria???? Maybe the west takes down Damascus which leads to peace talks???? Leaving Russia and Iran in Syria???

Agreed, it's like the end of an Agatha Christie novel where you know the murderer is about to be revealed and you keep thinking you have it solved but whoever you think it is something just doesn't add up.

I found myself wondering if Israel would be the one to respond because they now have Trump's blessing. At the same time, though, why would Trump do this when he is so bullish on American power? Unless he is so sure of Ezekiel 38 himself and that just doesn't sound like Trump. If anything he is a baby Christian who is just learning to walk and while he might have the ability to say that God is on Isreal*s side I can't see him just standing back. Maybe if we'l are still here and America were to go through something catastrophic like a San Francisco earthquake similar to 1906 plus a Katrina and some other stuff, then I suppose I could see him tell Isreal to go for it, that we do not have the power projection. But there again is that mystery lover in me who is trying to look at this and see just how it could play out and there is always something missing.

            lol Yep just like it.
So far Pres. Trump has proved to me anyway, his actions tend to lean toward the Chabad influences in his life...which are very different from ours as we have the NT and a very different view. Including his declaration about Jerusalem.

            PS
As far as I can tell for Chabad the next things up are peace and security, the peace deal and the Temple.

bye bye Damascus.... I kinda think that Assad and his downtown palace will be targetted personally, and that lots of those WMD hidden under Damascus streets will erupt and make the city uninhabitable......I think GOD will make that happen....... just my opinion of course... we will soon see... however its about time!!!

A day after warning starkly that "missiles will be coming," Trump in another early morning tweet storm said: "Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all!"

Putin says he hopes 'common sense' will prevail after Trump threatens Syria

Speaking to new ambassadors at the Kremlin, Putin said that "the state of world affairs cannot but cause anxiety. The situation in the world is becoming all the more chaotic."
"Nonetheless, we hope that common sense will prevail and international relations will go on a constructive course, that all the world's systems will become more stable and predictable," he continued
