Lavorv said that Russian military police will ensure the cease-fire's implementation, while Tillerson said that the issue was still under discussion

I'm seeing lots of articles that do not mention Israel as being in agreement only what this article states...Only what Jordan is saying and they were there...

A tripartite agreement to back the ceasefire in south-west of Syria
              http://www.petra.gov.jo/Public_News/...e=Home&GType=1

Jordan, the United States and the Russian
are in agreement. So far, no where do I see Israel is agreeing and the key word seems to be tripartite....

              and....

This Is Trumps Plan to Team Up With Putin in Syria and Leave Assad in Power

Trump finally has a Syria strategy. It relies on Russian soldiers and a dictator who Trump said in April had to go.
              http://www.thedailybeast.com/this-is...assad-in-power

I would not think Iran, Assad or Turkey will be complaining about that deal !

Found an article that hopefully is correct, even if the Russians apparently walked away with a different idea.

US official: Syria ceasefire first step to more robust arrangement

Further discussions will decide crucial aspects of the ceasefire, including who will monitor its enforcement, the official said.

This Debka report does not have anything new in it, but it does give an excellent overview of where they are re Syria ceasefire.

Syrian ceasefire deal skips Syria, Iran, Hizballah

Analysis: Who wins and loses from Syrian ceasefire deal?

                    http://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Ana...re-deal-499178

                    Interesting ??? Once again
                    Security Advisor H.R. McMaster
it was agreed by the US, Jordan and Russia
No Israel. And yet all indications are Israel had participated and insisted on no Russian troops. Curious.

                      A side note
Two senior Republican US senators criticized Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Sunday for saying that Russia may have the right approach on Syria and for what they called his lack of focus on Afghanistan and Pakistan.

US Tillerson praises Turkish courage during coup attempt
Speaking at the opening ceremony of an oil conference in Istanbul, where he received an award recognizing his four decades of work in the industry, Tillerson also said the United States saw Turkey as a partner in its push for greater energy security in the region.

Russia says to pursue further cooperation with US on Syria

MOSCOW - Russia will build on the success of a local ceasefire in south-west Syria and seek further opportunities to cooperate with the United States in resolving the Syrian conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday.
He said Russia had durable contacts with US officials over the conflict in Syria, and was hoping to broker cease-fires in other parts of the country.

Liberman: Israel will retain freedom of action in Syria

Israel is not bound by the US-Russian brokered ceasefire in Syria and will act when and where necessary to protect its security interests, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said on Sunday.

Liberman, on a tour of Ashkelon, said that Jerusalem is studying the understandings reached between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the cease-fire.

Russians enter Daraa, Syrians/Hizballah move out

Russian troops stepped into southern Syria for the first time Wednesday, July 13, when they entered the embattled town of Daraa to start enforcing the partial ceasefire agreed by Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Hamburg on July 7.
                              http://www.debka.com/article/26139/R...allah-move-out

But our sources predict that, after the arrival of Russian troops in Daraa to preserve the ceasefire, both Washington and Moscow will lean hard on Jerusalem to accept Russian troops at Quneitra too, that is, opposite the Golan.
