    This resurfaces the formula pursued in vain by US presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, which presupposes a near-total pullout from the lands Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war and sharing of Jerusalem.

      Bennett disappointed by Trump settlement policies
      But Trump has instead urged Israel to restrain construction as he tries to restart peace talks.

      Unfortunately from our perspective, he sort of going down the same unsuccessful path that his predecessors did, Bennett said. So yes, there is disappointment out there.
