    http://www.jpost.com/DiplomacyAndPol...ID=302212&R=R1

White House confirms that US president plans to visit Israel in Spring; Channel 10 reports that trip was made possible by a promise to launch the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
In addition to Israel, Obama is slated to visit the West Bank, Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister's Office said they knew nothing about the reported trip.

        American media speculate...
Possible military action against Iran and the crisis in Syria seem sure to top the agenda
        http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/o...-politics.html

But does that make sense when????

The Prime Minister's Office said they knew nothing about the reported trip.
Very doubtful as the PMO's office didn't know or even have an inkling

It's a good thing I'm not in charge. He would be sitting in the lobby for a few hours.

After all these years I have to wonder what's really on his mind to finally 'grace' them with his presence. Somehow I doubt it's anything good for Israel since he's convinced they are clueless on what is best for their nation.

Maybe he's heading over there to give them the blue prints for the new temple.

Maybe he's checking out where his new seat will be.

                    ok, I'm kidding.

                      lol

All the articles from yesterday and this morning seem to be stating the same things. The Debka article is a good example.

No new peace proposals in Obama visit to Israel – only Iran, Syria
                      http://debka.com/article/22741/No-ne...nly-Iran-Syria

No peace proposals in Obama’s coming Israel visit
The White House said Wednesday that President Barack Obama does not plan to use his coming trip to Israel to advance new proposals to break open the deadlock in peace talks with the Palestinians.
                      http://www.debka.com/newsupdate/3644/

                      Or

Asked whether Obama will use the visit to put pressure Israel on the settlements issue, Carney replied: "We expect that Iran and Syria will be topics of conversation

But the speculating has started to happen this afternoon.

Analysis: Under diplomatic fire, Israel faces settlement showdown

Israel risks sleepwalking into a crisis with its allies over relentless settlement-building in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem unless it realizes that the international anger is genuine and adjusts its course.
"Israel is walking blindly towards isolation and censure in the eyes of the world," said one of the most senior Western envoys in Jerusalem, who declined to be named given the enormous sensitivities surrounding the issue.

"What I don't understand is if Mr. Netanyahu doesn't realize what is happening, or if he doesn't give a damn."
Diplomats insist the mood abroad is hardening. They say that if the settlements get any bigger there will be no more room for a contiguous Palestinian state, dashing the chance of an accord. They also maintain that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is the most moderate leader that the Israelis can hope for.

Noting this change of tone, the Institute for National Security Studies, a respected Israeli think-tank, said this week that for the first time, the country faced the possibility of "concrete punishment measures" tied to its settlement expansion
The top selling Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth said on Wednesday the surprise announcement on Tuesday that Obama was planning an imminent visit would thrust peace considerations to the top of the agenda in the ongoing coalition talks.

"Barack Obama is urging Benjamin Netanyahu to find solutions, and there is no room here for deceptions. The State of Israel is likely to find itself in another few weeks poised before one of its most important moments of truth," it wrote.
                      http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/...9150YR20130206

So far there doesn't seem to be any hard evidence just speculation. So I guess we just have to wait for more of the puzzle pieces.

His seat should be facing the corner, for how he's acted towards Israel.
