CNN on right now 5pm pac time.....showed map that southern third of Manhattan's subways under water...... months to rebuild. everything must be replaced......
..... the lower levels of the subway system & NYC underground are still under water South of 32 street .....

Having lived in Manhattan for a year when I was younger, one thing is for sure, at least it will be clean for once. I am not without sympathy. However, they just were completely unprepared for any type of a storm at all. This is flooding. If they had had a Cat 2 or 5 like Andrew go through there the whole place would be gone.

People in NY and NJ have got some tough days ahead. I pray that we do not see anarchy come out of this.
