End of WeDG

Hi all,
Due to well over two years of a clear lack of interest in this board, I will be closing it when the hosting is up next month (24 Aug). I see no reason to continue this with the lack of readership and participation.

It's been a wonderful 27+ years, with tons of ups and downs, but with all the excellent resources available to us online via Telegram, YouTube and other platforms - we've outgrown our purpose. I do not believe any huge modification/improvements to the site would help, plus that has always been way beyond my knowledge/skill set.

Y'all know how to reach me.

  • Wondering out loud re: end-time scenerio

Stemming from Sanhedrin article.... still digging...Daniel covenant, laws, etc. Please read through to the end. Is this a possibility in the making?

    The 7 Noachide Laws

While Jews ("Children of Israel") are to fulfill the 613 mitzvot that rabbis find in Torah, "Gentiles" ("Children of Noah" or "Noahides" or "B'nai Noah" or "Hassidic Gentiles") are to follow the 7 Laws that Jews claim were given to Adam, and then to Moses through Noah (or directly to Noah, according to other traditions), and which were subsequently passed down through the ages until they were codified in the Babylonian Talmud. These Laws are:

    Do not murder
    Do not steal
Do not worship false gods (In the Talmud where these laws are found.... Jesus is a "false god")
    Do not be sexually immoral
Do not eat the limb of an animal before it is killed
    Do not curse God
Set up courts and bring offenders to justice
Violation of any one of the seven laws subjects the Noahide to capital punishment by decapitation. (Sanh. 57A) [my emphasis]
    http://www.kensmen.com/catholic/jc2.html
God established his covenant with Noah

Genesis 9:8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
    9And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

The Prophet Daniel tells us that the antichrist will confirm a covenant with the many.

Daniel 9: 26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

And in the same book we know the antichrist will think to change the times and the laws.

    Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

We know the Noahide Laws bear punishment by decapitation if broken. (see above)

And we know in Rev. 20:4-6 Christians will be beheaded (decapitated) for their witness for Jesus and stand on the word of God.

One of the Noahide Laws is Do not worship false gods ....Jesus would be look upon in this light...i.e. a "false god") and punishment for breaking one of these laws is decapitation)

We know these laws come from the Talmud

We saw an article yesterday in the Ha'aretz, an Israeli paper entitled "The Bible - a "foreign language" stating the Talmud is replacing Biblical text.
    http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/633819.html

The Bible - a foreign language

How did this happen? While Orthodox Judaism pushed the Biblical text to the margins and nurtured the Talmud in its place, the restoration that Zionism effected, led by David Ben-Gurion - turning the ancient text into a cultural center - is today shrouded in fashionable controversy. Zionism, the argument goes, revived aggressive heroes - war mongerers like Joshua Bin Nun and Pinchas - just as it glorified the story of Mattathias and the Maccabees, and preferred the zealots of Massada to Yochanan Ben Zakai.

Now, in their time of crisis, the settlers are moving closer to ultra-Orthodoxy and abandoning the entire Israeli canon. The Bible, along with Natan Alterman, are giving way to the Talmud, and "faith-based" Hebrew is replacing the rich, multilayered Biblical tongue.

This paints an interesting picture...could the Noahide laws possibly be the laws the antichrist (changes) brings in and could the covenant God made with Noah be the covenant that he confirms with many (in a twisted sort of way). Just wondering out loud?

Still wondering about the following in the sense is it that far off base that these laws may readily be accepted in the days ahead?.....(be it in ignorance or otherwise?)
    http://www.auburn.edu/~allenkc/7laws.html

The U.S. Congress officially recognized the Noahide Laws in legislation which was passed by both houses. Congress and the President of the United States, George Bush, indicated in Public Law 102-14, 102nd Congress, that the United States of America was founded upon the Seven Universal Laws of Noah, and that these Laws have been the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization. They also acknowledged that the Seven Laws of Noah are the foundation upon which civilization stands and that recent weakening of these principles threaten the fabric of civilized society, and that justified preoccupation in educating the Citizens of the United States of America and future generations is needed. For this purpose, this Public Law designated March 26, 1991 as Education Day, U.S.A.

    Continuing to wonder out loud....

Bush, Sr. I'm guessing because of the date? At first I thought it ws recent but your date says 1991. I didn't recall that one back then but apparently it was done.

Just thought re: the above this would be an all-inclusive covenant (right up until the present time) since all people came from Noah (independent of what religious belief they have now)

Could see the antichrist trying to pull that one ...i.e. a covenant for all people

This is okay....a trio short of 10 and of course we know that Jesus is NOT false....HE is the Great I AM. Didn't know that the US had adopted these......guess that's when they threw out the 10 Commandments......
