I get it, it's a huge issue.

I was puzzled by what you said about the AntiChrist in the first part of this weeks update...
The context of Daniel ch 9 imho is this. It is not until mid trib that he is given total world wide power... So he does not have power to by himself enhance, enable this covenant with many BY HIMSELF at the beginning of this seven year period..!!!
At the beginning of this seven year period world rule is shared among ten kings..
Therefore "He confirms a covenant with many" in this context imho must mean that
"he confirm a covenant (along} with many ( other regional kings)"
