The browser is firefox and even when I went to the source website I got the same result, the video plays but I get no sound. If the issue is a necessary plug-in wouldn't that prevent even the video from playing as well? After the rave reviews I'd love to hear it.Comment

I've had that problem with Firefox. If your FF normally plays embedded video's then it should this. Usually if I reboot it takes care of it but sometimes I just have to resort to using Internet Explorer. The fact you have a picture that's moving tells me you have the plug-in that's necessary...if you didn't it would show you that you need to install whatever plug-in it's missing.Comment

John, I can hear all other embedded videos. It's just this one that I cannot hear. I looked at the video and it relates to windows machines. Mine is running Linux. Thanks for all your effort in trying to make this work for me.Comment

Hope you fix it, Michael. One time I couldn't hear the video, I realized I didn't have the volume on.....it was fine on my computer but on their video screen it was off. Okay....so I went back through it and started checking.
"Simon" would = Simeon in Hebrew and it does mean, "To Hear" or "Heard"
"Perez", however, in Hebrew does not mean "divide". It means "breach" (interesting..."Listen to the breach"? Doesn't change his point much, IMHO)
"Peres" in Aramaic DOES mean "divide" (Daniel 5:28)
The rest of it - my only question to Pastor Steve would be, "Why are we changing, 'heaven' in Luke 10:18 to 'heights' or 'on high'?" If Jesus is speaking Hebrew, as he is suggesting, 'heaven' would be:
shamayim {shaw-mah'-yim}
That changes his conclusion a bit. All of the translations I looked at has it, "heaven" and not, "from on high" or "heights".
Interesting to contemplate, though.Comment

I've removed the 3/31 update as it was not a prophecy update by brother JD. He bypassed it this week and went into a normal Easter Sunday sermon. Not to say his sermons aren't excellent, just this thread is specific for his prophecy updates.Comment

That was another good Prophecy Update.
I especially liked,what he had to say about the days of Noah and Lot and the probable same sex ruling we will be facing.
One thing I question is our country isn't the first and surely not the last to legalize same sex marriage. We can't assume that just because we fall into this sin to make it legal doesn't mean that this is the turning point for God to say enough. Understand what I am trying to get at here? I mean maybe it is but we tend to think we, the US, is so important.
Well anyway you look at it our time here on earth is getting shorter and shorter. God will not put up with this sin sick generation much longer.Comment

Agreed, Denise, another good one by JD.
When he said same-gender (unions - can't call it anything else) was legal in Noah's time I wonder if he meant Noah or Lot (or both). I would see that being the case in Sodom/Gomorrah as a minimum.Comment
