  • Glenn Beck's Three Paths to god

Today, for just a brief few minutes, I had on Beck's radio show where I could actually hear it (I work in a very high noise environment). He was talking about using a symphony orchestra for his Wednesday night (final?) Israel thing. He described a sound check/rehearsal for it. Then he played a couple minute audio of it. I thought I heard him say "three paths to god" .. I just was able to find a video of him saying this. It is very clearly what he said .. at :20 into the clip.

    Issachar, not surprised ...
The church is on Earth to save souls from a lost world, not to save the world from lost souls.

Man learns about history, not from history. To learn from history requires wisdom. Cut off from God, he has none, so history repeats; no new thing under the sun.

I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken - dylan

Psalms 122:8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

I just noticed that at 1 minute, he says that Moses chisled the commandments onto the tablets. He should have read the bible before he put this together .. but then again, as nice "sounding" as all this is to some, he is only putting forth his mormon version of universalism.

There are NOT three paths to God. If there were, Jesus is a liar and we KNOW that is not the case. And it was God, with His finger, that wrote upon the tablets.

    Exodus 31:
    18
And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

At 1:05 he says, "This (Jerusalem) is the throne of god." Nope.

      Psalms 47:
      8
God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

      Matthew 5:
      34
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

And a quick view of the Revelation tells us plainly where His throne is.

In the first 16 seconds, he talks about "man's first encounter with god" .. It was not in Jerusalem, it was in the garden that God had planted in the East of Eden.

Oh my. He is surely showing his deceitful hand. Now, just maybe some eyes will be opened.

I heard Moses got chiseler's cramp from all those commandments, but I can't confirm it.
I haven't listened to Beck in quite awhile.
Now the truth is coming out.
Misguided or not, he should check these things out before stating them, or he believes them as fact....

Same reason I cringe when ever I hear a Christian say “Paul said in…” or the “apostle john said…”
Its a fine line but the bible did not come from the mind of man
They may have wrote, but that’s all.

With the word written in our hearts it’s hard to imagine anything but Gods finger doing that.
Not hard to imagine that heart being of stone at the first …

But what a wonderful picture, a stone heart but with living words burning into it.
Sounds like what the Christian life is really like ….

                amen.

                Ezekiel 36:
                26
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

                2 Corinthians 3:
                3
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

I had not heard that one before. Have to check it out later.

Re: Glenn Beck's Three Paths to god

Going into work this morning, I heard Mr. Beck say that they are broadcasting from, or about from, the same spot where Abraham was going to sacrifice his son, Jacob.

I suppose he just misspoke? We can all do that now and then.

                    Genesis 22:
                    1
And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

I wonder how many true Christians who took the time to travel to Israel are scratching their head and wondering what they are listening to. It sure will open some eyes.
