I have to wait for my rabbit-ear received local news to find out, but I wonder how the msm is reporting this? A few weeks ago (I posted about it) when I learned what these "rebels" (that the U.S. is on the side of) were doing to people, I decided that there is no such thing as a so called "good guy" in any of this. Man's iniquity prevails in this "world." But .. a day of reckoning is fast approaching.

Issachar, not concerned with "rebels" winning or losing .. just watching from a place that is not "of the world", as the world moves towards the fulfillment of prophecy. Be always ready with the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

My concerns about this center around the whole Muslim Brotherhood thing. If Egypt and Libya both go in that direction, the noose will tighten on Israel. We need to be especially prayerful for His protection over Israel right now.

The likely end of Libya's Muammar Gaddafi's rule is a lesson for leaders in the Middle East who ignore the demands of their people for change, Turkey said on Monday.

Turkey's relations with Israel are currently very strained, and if the Muslim Brotherhood gains power in Libya, that will leave only Cush as the last remaining Gog/Magog player specifically mentioned in Ez 38. Cush of course is the biblical region currently called Sudan, and since Southern Sudan has broken free of its Muslim controlled northern region, look for Sudan to fall in place very quickly. Sudan is already a close friend of both Iran and Russia.

So look for a "trigger" to kick this mayhem off. Israel strike on Iran? Iran within the past few days has bunkered its centrifuges to protect them from airstrikes. Huge oil discovery in Israel? Iranian missile strike ordered by an insane leader? We know Russia's plans. Putin wants to control the entire region. Israel stands in the way.

Just a side note?
Even the subject of Mugabe of Zimbabwe is coming up. Gadhafi was one of his few backers. African nations are accepting the future and Mugabe is now weakened by events.

African Union to hold emergency meeting on Libya: officials

The African Union will hold an emergency meeting on the situation in Libya later on Monday, AU officials said, as rebels appeared to be ending Muammar Gaddafi's 42 years in power after a six-month civil war.

The emergency peace and security council meeting is due to take place at 9:30 a.m. EDT at the African Union's headquarters in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
