  • Prophetic Implications: Earthquakes on the rise?

Since we have so many EQ's happening, I think just one thread for them all instead of making a new thread everytime we have one.

    Re: Earthquakes

    Makes since to me Debbie!

You are probably aware of the following site that keeps a running total for the year to which you can compare previous years:

    http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquak...ar/eqstats.php

And as you are probably also aware, due to the increase in earthquakes, they put the following disclaimer on:

"Starting in January 2009, the USGS National Earthquake Information Center no longer locates earthquakes smaller than magnitude 4.5 outside the United States, unless we receive specific information that the earthquake was felt or caused damage."

What minimum size do we want to keep track of Debbie? Any ideas?

        Re: Earthquakes

I was thinking 6.0 or greater unless it seems to be a oddball kind of place. I think we'll be seeing more odd places pop up with some EQ activity.

And if we have a lot of activity in one area, like swarms, make note of that. It could be alerting us something may be up in that particular area.

Here is Dutchsinse's take on the Vanuatu, which I guess is N. of New Zealand.

            Re: Earthquakes

I think having a single, pinned thread with all earthquakes of significance should indeed be posted - I agree.

And, by all means, continue to post the links (or even better, embed like you did, John) the video's by Dutchsinse. I like that guy's viewpoints and insights.

Here is Dutchsinse's sense on the quake. Did not say much.

                  Re: Earthquakes

Do you know none of these 3 earthquakes have made the mainstream news? I've been checking and no mention; that I could find. Also, I've been checking the USGC earthquake site but they haven't updated the "past 8-30 days" earthquake list link past 7/24/11. They'll give you only the significant ones and they only reported the 6.8 today, not the other 2 that occurred today. Strange.

MikeinPortland did a video about proof and evidence USGC is lying about the data on the earthquake site. He had captured earthquake data to create this video showing the increase here.

Then he went back a few days later to update the video and discovered USGC altered the same data he used before on their site, showing way less earthquakes. You can tell by the upload dates.

I get automatic email notification from the USGS for earthquakes above 5.0 and got this one but can't find it on their site?

                          Thanks Debbie!

I was beginning to think they were erasing earthquakes again!
