  • Modern dictators slowly disappearing?

Does it seem like our modern days dictator-type leaders are slowly disappearing? The first 4 on the list, just this year. The others in the past few years. Please correct or add if I missed any? Do they have something in common, like oil?

I know no one lives forever, but does it seem like maybe a new breed of leaders are to be phased in, or am I being paranoid? Possibly newly elected leaders by Muslim Brotherhood, who will all be on the same page?

Lybia's Quadafi - to be overthrown by International Criminal Court?
Iran's Ahmadinejad - to be overthrown by own country?
Venezuela's Chavez - has cancer, to be replaced?
Egypt's Mubarak - overthrown by own country
    Iraq's Hussein - assassinated
Palestinian Authority's Arafat - died of "mysterious causes"?
    Cuba's Castro - resigned?

WILF: Israel is the solution, not the problem
Jewish nation should be beacon for Arab Spring

As the ‘Arab Spring’ rolls into an uncertain summer, the recent turmoil already has exposed some regional home truths. The popular unrest that has shaken dictator- ships throughout the Middle East has put to rest the fallacy that Israel is the root cause of Arab anger and the source of the region’s problems. Although there remains little love lost between the Arab world and Israel, it is a hunger for democracy that is fueling the Arab street.

But not only is Israel not the problem in the Middle East, it is, if anything, the solution.

At its birth, Israel infused the modern idea of political democracy with a traditional Jewish concept of equality, which rejects the need for an intermediary between man and God.

Israel is the Middle East’s only democracy, but our vision is to be but one democracy among many. A democratic Arab world would represent unprecedented hope for regional peace - not just a narrow and limited agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, but an all-encompassing accord that would change the face of the Middle East.

Indeed, were Israel surrounded by like-minded enlightened societies, the very real Israeli security concerns of today would fade into distant memory. A region devoid of conflict would allow for unparalleled economic and technological cooperation, ultimately fulfilling the material aspirations of the region’s youth.

Many of these leaders that are being replaced tolerated the status quo, ie Israel. Like you, I think the leaders being replaced will not tolerate Israel thus leading up to Ezekiel 38/39. All the nations of Muslims will come against Israel, not just a few of them. I truly feel that's why we are seeing such a radical change in the Mideast. Let's not forget that Israel can't depend on the good old USA any longer because of the president. I never thought I would see what we are seeing today. Prophecy in the making and we are the ones that get to see it.
