GIANT SINE WAVE: Imagine a sine wave 400,000 km long.

One of the wave troughs appears to be passing through the core of sunspot 1283. If so, an eruption of the sunspot could have an interesting ripple effect on the greater filament, perhaps even causing it to collapse.

Spaceweather.com reports on Aug. 30 that Elenin is breaking apart. Then on Aug. 31 the stereo B and SOHO videos are released showing Elenin cut in two, change course and explode by a pulse or something shooting out of Jupitor. And the same day FOX reports that half the astronaut crew will be evacuated from the ISS within the next few weeks and the remaining will be evacuated by November? And all the reasons to bring the astronauts home ASAP are just so insurmountable and it's just impossible to overcome the obstacles of keeping them there as long as originally planned.

Gosh! Good thing Elenin exploded and/or changed course because if she didn't there might have been a mess out there.

According to forecasted JPL orbit for Elenin would have passed closest point to Earth on Oct 17 at 0.232 AU from Earth (Feast of Tabernacles) and then Oct. 21st Elenin would have entered Earth's orbit ahead of the Earth after the closest point of approach, possibly leaving a big trail of debris on the earth. There would have been another perfect Sun-Earth-Elenin alignment Nov. 20-23 as she heads out of orbit.

OK, I admit I'm either being a conspiracy nut or sarcastic.

I happen to agree. If it turns out the dots aren't really connected, so what? This is a "Discussion board" not a "Talk bare facts ONLY" board. That would be a boring board if we could never discuss potential scenario's or possible dot-connecting like we do. Sure we want to base our discussions on factual things going on but it's still a discussion site.

I agree Andy, I enjoy trying to connect the dots, it's exciting especially when in relation to understanding the times we live in, knowing that certain things can only mean one thing, and that is that soon the Lord is coming for us. As a bride should be excited to see her bridegroom.

Now what's even better is when the Lord connects the dots and you have one of those AHA moments.

Frankly I would not trust that source again. He’s talking nonsensical.
If he was talking baseball and not space, the comments would have been like: there was a touchdown in the 2nd inning and the commentators didn’t tell you.

When it comes to comets particularly, the folks who see, name and look for them are amateures. Literally people in astronomy clubs with backyard telescopes (good ones). Thousands and thousands of them. Nasa fly’s things like space planes, they are not in the business of astronomy.

This is not an exaggerated statement: If a large object came into the solar system, NASA would be the LAST to know. They get their info from the amateurs as far as comets go.

A comet is a small object that emits a large cloud of gas. Like a lit cigar, the smoke can get really big, that doesn’t mean the smoke has any “weight” to it. A comet as big as Jupiter is like saying a room filled with smoke. Unfortunately it seems like guys like this are suppling mirrors.

Meanwhile on spaceweather.com if you scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see a chart regarding near earth asteroids. THAT’S dangerous stuff, and gets 0 press …..

Sackcloth & Ashes has a new video referencing a recent Discovery Channel presentation of "Alien Invasion", which he thinks is part of the plan to condition us for a false explanation of the Rapture. Elenin may or may not be part of this because some are saying it is not following a gravitational-induced path?

Here is another video where a guy (about 14:40) claims to be an astronomer and former Apollo adviser for Walter Cronkite (old like me) claims that their is another asteroid aligning with ELININ, Earth, Venus and Mercury on 11/11/11. Is this why some of us keep seeing the number "11". He also claims that on the evening of 11/09/11 FEMA has asked all TV stations to allow them to test their emergency broadcasting system, for some reason! Bazzaro, as McCain would say!

7 ton satellite set to fall back to Earth

NASA says a defunct seven-ton satellite is due to re-enter the atmosphere - with the potential to rain debris upon Earth.

The Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite, or UARS, is expected to come down in late September or early October, the space agency said today in an advisory. "Although the spececraft will break into pieces during re-entry, not all of it will burn up in the atmosphere," NASA said.

I saw something that looked really cool last night, but couldn't get a picture of it, My son took a couple with his cell phone and they looked better than mine but not great. The moon had these clouds near it and the halo from the moon made the clouds look reddish, like a red halo.
