    Yes Ron that is what I was thinking of. It just caught my eye when I read the article. Bibi talks about how the younger generation there now doesn't remember when there was a wall in Jerusalem, talking of the dividing of the city and I imagine he thinks they would have to go back to that to be safe.

    Is this the verse to which you are referring?

    Eze 38:11 KJV
    (11) And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

    The main line of defense in Biblical times was the wall and gate.

    Walls and gates ceased to be a line of defense with the advent of modern weapons.

    Reading an article on Koenig's site that a wall 4 foot high used to exist in the city. It has been down for along time since the jewish people got it back. Could this be the unwalled city that is talked aboout in scriptures?
