    Obama would back peddle but he didn't.

    Instead chose to defend and remind them it has been American policy for a long time( "Roadmap" and even much much farther back.my words)

      Obama at AIPAC – conciliatory but unapologetic
      The president reaffirmed U.S.-Israel ties, rejected the mantle of Mideast peace revolutionary, stood his ground on the key issues, and invited Netanyahu's response.
