  • Entire 500+ Prison Emptied

Have y'all heard about the prison in Afghanistan where all 500+ Al Queda insurgents, including (at least) one of the chief guys...all have escaped through an elaborately dug 1/4 mile tunnel from a house. Dozens of guards "disappeared" with these thugs making it pretty clear it was an inside job..or at least they were helping the effort. Took them months to dig it.

    Anyway, here's the story: http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/taliba...ry?id=13452311

So sad...our troops (of which one is my nephew) have to face these murderous thugs again. We're fighting a war that we can't win because those we're supposedly freeing from the bad guys - don't want to be freed because they're the bad guys themselves. We are so foolish. Do we REALLY think this is going to work??

The thinkers believe it will work, through appeasement and money.
Sadly Andy, I know people over there too. Why we don't bring them home and protect our borders is beyond me. I'd rather have those men and women home, but that's another discussion. Yeah, I agree this was most likely an inside job. Also, these prisoners will further their belief in their moon god, claiming because of him they were allowed to escape. Uh no, because of the guards on the inside, and digging tools...

Yes, I saw this on Fox yesterday ~sigh~

Our troops need to shake the dust off their boots and come home.

We shouldn't be in Lybia either. If we go to WAR in Lybia, then what stops us from going to WAR with Syria and then the next and next country thats populous rise up and government fires upon.

There is no end to this. You cannot reason with the evil of this religion.

I agree with each previous post..bring our soldiers home.
I have also wondered, along with John Stossel..where are all the war protesters?
Not so much as a whimper over our getting involved in Libya.
