  • Arab League: Protests deserve support, not bullets

"The people's demands for freedom and democracy are demands that require support ... not bullets in the chests of demonstrators," the Arab League said in the statement, received by Reuters on Tuesday.
"We call on Arab regimes and governments to commit to and speed up reforms, immediately stop using force against demonstrators and spare their citizens bloodshed."

    This is absolutely amazing!
No matter what we are hearing or reading from the individual countries, the Arab League has always and is continuing to support democracy.

And what is the definition of democracy here, please?
My heart says it's the right to vote in a radical gov't that will agree to push Israel into the sea...then turn it's eyes to US.
JMHO but they have learned how to turn a 'vote' in the direction they choose. IMHO again, it's already been done successfully under scrutinizing eyes. All that is required is an accommodating media.

        Hi Jeanie
I can only tell you what I think I see in the worldly sense and prophecy wise.
Wanting Israel divided isn't considered "radical". It is the accepted belief of a quickly growing number of Islamics, Christians etc etc. As well as the leaders of the world. On the bases of "all roads". Not wanting it divided is now considered "radical". It is like saying you don't want peace, security and equality in the world, in their eyes.
"Radical" now is Iran or Bin Laden's bunch. Russian or Chinese dictatorships have been taken down in their eyes enough to not worry. In fact, the reason China is so afraid of democracy. The battles we are seeing now. The reason we are hearing the elimination of certain phrases in society.
However, it is the reason they have to divided Israel and divided it quickly.
I know many may get angry with my next position but...
Many have taken the one verse "beheaded" and the word of a group of Islamics who are getting smaller and smaller but fighting for their very life now. We even borderline on believing prophecies in the Koran because it sounds so close.
But step back from all the fear mongering and stuff.
If it was Islam or even radical Islam that takes over, do you really think the world as it is now, would voluntarily line up to surrender?
Democracy will win. Sadly people will surrender voluntarily to Satan.

I just saw this article posted today and I think it says a lot about what we see in our countries and what is being taught worldwide.
Teacher faces uphill battle when freedom clashes with Islam, says "part of my job is to convince [students] something is wrong with our society.”
The students are studying human rights. The course is the only one offered in Yemen and the issue is so divisive that the university has asked that its name not be mentioned. Today’s lesson is about non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Mogib Hassan, a teacher and human rights advocate, explains why they are important.

“You need them in order to pressure the government to accord human rights to the people,” he says.
“Locally you have to work diplomatically with as many parties as possible, the opposition, educated people, even the ruling party.” Internationally, he says, it is important to be associated with international NGOs like Amnesty International or Human Rights Watch (HRW). “You can put more pressure on the government, and also find funding.”

So many of the elite have already been taught in the west. Those who are leading the revolts in their countries.
Yes we are only seeing the revolts now but this has actually been in the works for years. It is only now the last few steps toward Utopia(Tower of Babel) has been within their reach.

          The Arab League supporting democracy!

            PS
            jmvho?
After God does what He is about to do, many will be looking for someone to reaffirm what they believe as correct and Satan will provide someone.

              And another from today....
Oren pens essay challenging stance Israel is US liability

Envoy tells ‘Post’ that people urged him to make case, saying "there was no more important piece" to write.

“On an ideological level, an ally is a country that shares America’s values, reflects its founding spirit, and resonates with its people’s beliefs,” he writes. “Tactically, an ally stands with the United States through multiple conflicts and promotes its global vision.
