The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

  • Quartet meeting

Faced with an impasse in the peace process, the Palestinian leaders, who repeatedly refer to the "South African model" of non-violent emancipation, are determined to proclaim their own state before September.

Meanwhile, the Middle East Quartet seeking to negotiate a peace deal are expected to meet Friday and work on a text for resuming Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, which had been delayed by the United States, diplomats at the United Nations said.

      Remember this..
US President Barack Obama will lay out US policy toward the Middle East and North Africa in the coming weeks, Clinton told Arab and US policy makers in a speech that placed particular emphasis on Israeli-Palestinian peace.

          Off subject just slightly
President Barack Obama told an “Easter Prayer Breakfast” held at the White House on Tuesday morning that the resurrection of Our Savior Jesus Christ puts everything in perspective.

“I wanted to host this breakfast for a simple reason--because as busy as we are, as many tasks as pile up, during this season, we are reminded that there’s something about the resurrection--something about the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ, that puts everything else in perspective,” Obama told a group of Christian clergymen and government officials in a brief speech in the East Room.

It almost seems Bibi is counting the fact the Palestinians will never do it.
If so then the peace talks are still going no where.
