  • NATO takes immediate command of Libya campaign

    Posted 28 minutes ago
NATO took full command Sunday of military operations in Libya from a US-led coalition, enabling the alliance to strike at forces loyal to Moamer Kadhafi should they threaten civilians.

Re: NATO takes immediate command of Libya campaign

There is a very good chance Obama's speech Monday night will be an explanation but also the announcement the US has stepped out of this operation(for the most part). Why "the most part"? NATO is still mostly under US control but it allows others to do the job without the US coming up and image the US is fighting over there. Putting the focus on the NWO image.

Which is why CNN used the term "The Libya Operation- The New World Order"

When they weren't sure what it meant but used it anyway.

NATO officials cautioned however that the transfer would take some 48 to 72 hours, meaning the coalition will co-exist with NATO's operation for another two or three days.
The plan does not call for NATO to intervene in support of the armed rebellion fighting Kadhafi, the diplomats said.

"NATO will always remain impartial. NATO does not take sides," said a NATO diplomat who asked not to be identified.
There it is the same mantra we heard all along. Qaddafi must go but only because the Libyians want him gone(with just a little prodding from the world as the internet did most of the work). So they can now finish it.

I can only assume the message we are hearing, is a sign or indication of their confidence in what has and will happen.

Re: NATO takes immediate command of Libya campaign

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday said the United States currently has no intention of launching a military intervention in Syria, despite its brutal crackdown that has left dozens of protesters dead.
tada here is the big new "but"....

She said, however, that if an international coalition, with the authority of a UN Security Council resolution, offered "universal" condemnation of Syria, military intervention would be possible.

                Fox News
Officials say the Pentagon has reduced the amount of naval firepower arrayed against the forces of Libyan strongman Moammar Qaddafi. It's a sign of U.S. confidence that the weeklong assault has tamed Qaddafi's air defenses.

The move, not yet publicly announced, reinforces the White House message of a diminishing U.S. role -- a central point in President Barack Obama's national address Monday night on Libya.

There is absolutely no reason to believe the US's standing has diminished. The US is still number 1 and in control. It is a simple image problem going into the NWO and adjustments have to be made. We see the same thing quite frequently and it started a long time ago. Holding hands and kissing Kings in the ME(Bush). Obama apologizing, bowing and his reset button. We have been watching it all fall into place for a very long time now.
But like I say, the image didn't change enough in many places, hence what we are seeing now.
