EU crisis summit on Libya, Arab neighbours set March 11

European Union leaders are to gather March 11 for a special summit convened to respond to the crisis in Libya as well as to the turmoil sweeping Arab nations in Europe's Mediterranean backyard.

Also in town as momentum for a military response to Moamer Kadhafi appears to gather speed will be defence ministers from the 28-member NATO alliance.

I suspect they are all walking on egg shells because they want the rest of the world to see a people powered revolution and not a US/EU one. The message to the other dictators and leaders in the world will be heard loud and clear so there has to minimal intervention from the powers that be until after they have won. The battle won by your own hands is more accepted and guarded then the battle won by outside forces.
