  • Farmer holds theives at gunpoint

An article in the Mother Earth News this month reveals how difficult it can be for prudent people in crisis times. One particular self sufficient rural farmer recounted how during a recent area emergency he had to repeatedly drive off looters at gunpoint. They repeatedly tried to steal his food and generator. In one case a looter had killed one of his goats and he had to hold the looter at gunpoint for an hour and a half before the sheriff arrived......

Now this was in the remote rural areas...... and is not an uncommon thing.........
several other people in that region had simular problems.......

Where was this? I think this is what is coming to the U.S. as things get more desperate here. I just got me a gun, for just such an instance as described.
I also live in a rural area.

I would have to reread the issue...... but its the same all over....you should get more than one gun imho.... hide one so if the police take yours you can still defend your family ((( in New Orleans during the flood the police took the guns of honest people so they could not defend their families)))

So much for the Constitution in a crisis:

        Issachar
The church is on Earth to save souls from a lost world, not to save the world from lost souls.

Man learns about history, not from history. To learn from history requires wisdom. Cut off from God, he has none, so history repeats; no new thing under the sun.

I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken - dylan

Psalms 122:8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
