  • Bubonic Plague

I hope this is not one of the plagues to be set free during the Tribulation. It swept through Europe in the 14th century and killed an estimated 75 million people, 30-60% of the European population. I think it is safely tucked away in laboratories and only comes out in accidents like the article below indicates.

    Re: Bubonic Plague

diseases are being brought into this country by illegal aliens from the 3rd world.... diseases that were wiped out here generations ago......... Of course its considered politically incorrect and hateful to say so ........ so the problem is not even being addressed ......

Just like Aids, these new pandemics are politically protected .........
so you dont hear much about it...........

Plague is one of those nasties that hospitals and health organizations are preparing for. During a disaster drill a couple of years ago, I had 2 people walk into the ER with "history and symptom cards" describing the plague, directly from Wikipedia. The doctors, neither of whom had ever seen an actual case of plague, were stumped.

I think you had better check some of your facts Lewis, especially bubonic plague:
In the U.S., persons exposed to rodent fleas, wild rodents, or other susceptible animals in enzootic areas of western states
Most cases occur in southwestern states of NM, AZ, CO, and in CA
Highest rates in Native Americans, especially Navajos; other risk groups: hunters; veterinarians and pet owners handling infected cats; campers or hikers entering areas with outbreaks of animal plague
They track known carrier groups each year in the 4 corners area, can't say what they track in CA though.
