I think it is possible that Israel will sink the two vessels, they have given the
US/UN years to deal with Iran and that has accomplished nothing, so they
may choose to do it themselves.

I would not be surprised if Israel sinks them. Iran is taking SUCH a bold step - basically DARING Israel to do something about it. I wouldn't be surprised if the sailor's did their 'suicide ritual' that Muslims do when they believe they're going to be giving up their lives for Allah.

I just decided to pin this thread - this is too 'hot' to let it drop off the front page.

Israel on high alert for Iranian warships

Israel has learned that the Iranian cruiser Kharg is carrying long-range missiles for Hizballah which it plans to unload at a Syrian port or Beirut harbor.

has brought Israel and Iran closer than ever before to a naval collision at sea

The military in Egypt are stuck between two ideologies right now and trying appease both while waiting for the dust settle. The two powers are the old cultural structure and the support of the people for OWO ideologies.
Iran is losing so it will be very hard to tell the truth from the propaganda.
They have to get in there or at least appear to be still in the battle, if they want their side win against the OWO ideologies.
Left, right who cares as long as it ends their way.
Which could explain why it didn't matter which side was in power on either side of the pond and it could still go forward.

Gotta think their leader is thinking very seriously about stirring up a major war considering his belief about the 12th Iman (or whatever that is). EVERYTHING in the world around us is ready for this..even the thought that the US wouldn't come to Israel's aid.

Free-fall...that definitely describes what we're seeing.

Iran Says It's Sending Two Warships to Canal, TV Says
Iran is arranging with Egyptian officials to have two of its warships use the Suez Canal, Iranian state-run Press TV said. The Suez Canal Authority said after today’s report that no Iranian naval vessels had been granted permission to sail through the waterway. Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said yesterday that Iran was planning later that day to send two gunboats through the canal to Syria, which would involve heading through the eastern Mediterranean, off Israel’s coast. He called the move a “provocation.”

Iran: Warships to pass through Suez

Though Egyptian official says Suez Canal Authority informed about cancellation of two Iranian ships' passage, Press TV insists ships on schedule as Egypt sees 'nothing wrong' with plan

The Suez Canal has been told that plans by two Iranian naval ships to cross the waterway were cancelled, an official said on Thursday, removing a potential policy headache for Egypt's new army rulers.

But the Iranian state television said that Egyptian authorities saw "nothing wrong" with the warships passage through the canal.

"Iranian officials were in contact with officials in Cairo to secure the vessels passage...Egyptian authorities believed there was nothing wrong with the passage," Press TV quoted an unnamed Iranian navy official as saying.

Israel: Iran war ships to transit Suez for Syria

(Reuters) - Two Iranian war ships planned to sail through the Suez canal en route to Syria on Wednesday, Israel's foreign minister said, describing the move as a "provocation" by Tehran.

Iran's semi-official Fars news agency had reported on January 26 that Iranian navy cadets had been dispatched on a year-long training mission going via the Gulf of Aden into the Red Sea and on through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean Sea.
