The main thing I'd like to get across to you is that I care about the Word, you, and everyone here on this board. I realize that it is easy to perceive my writing in an aggressive manner, but it's not meant that way. You know me, I want that edification thing to happen....

Not a problem, my friend. As I've said, I'm not 100% dogmatic on this. I know there is room for question - thus I present my views and welcome the views of others. In one sense I wish someone WOULD show me where I'm wrong in such a way that I can dismiss the sadness I feel for those I care deeply for but repeatedly reject the gospel of Jesus Christ. But - in my heart of hearts I believe that should the rapture take us away from them before they respond favoribly to that gospel the next time I see them is at the Great White Throne when Jesus sentences them to a lost eternity. I do not wish such horror on anyone.

Thank-you to Openeyes, for the direct response. I thought you made some very good points. I need to digest them for a bit.

Andy, you also had a good point, when you reminded us that the letter is addressed to the church.

This is definitely a topic for serious Bereans.
