The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

Back to the future, so to speak!

Interesting.....the Madrid terms of principles presently mentioned re: the upcomingSept 2, 2010 meeting in Washington refers back to the Madrid Conference of Oct 30-Nov 1,1991 which took place in the Royal Palace in Madrid, Spain!..........have to wonder, why Spain, why the Palace!..Oslo was an off spring of the 1991 Madrid Conference.

Will things head back to Spain where it all began..I have to wonder!

Another of the palace’s most outstanding rooms is the Salón de las Columnas (Column Room), where Spain signed the Treaty of Accession to the European Union. With a vaulted ceiling painted by Giaquinto, the walls are covered in 17th century tapestries and the room is decorated with Roman busts and statues from the Old Fortress. This was the room used for official ceremonies until Alfonso XII ordered remodelling work, during which three rooms belonging to the Queen’s Quarters were joined together and turned into what is now known as the Comedor de Gala (Banqueting Hall). Work was completed at the end of the 19th century, creating a room decorated with 16th century tapestries, Chinese porcelain vases from the 18th century and paintings by Mengs, González Velázquez and Francisco Bayeu.
