The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

    Hollywood aftershock.........

    A large aftershock was felt in the Hollywood area yesterday as Jay Lenno was jolted two hours to late nite ......

    It'd be fine with me if all of the vulgar speaking "commedians" were put to about the 3:00 am time slot or - better yet, right off the air altogether.....but that's just me I suppose.

    America has lost the ability to blush anymore...catch any part of these guys and, unless you've been desensitized by it all, you will be shocked right out of your chair.

      I bet on the 100th year anniversary the 3 stooges will still be marathon-nd on new year’s eve.

      The shock of the vulgarity fades quickly, and like the rest of film and arts, the art of comedy has regressed to base, nervous, reactions.

      Despite the propaganda, the less purity the less inspiration, a lack of respect results in a lack of creativity.

      Superman will survive the ages but all the “Dark” hero’s will fade into their darkness.

      OH for the end of re-make Hollywood!

                Anyone hear or see Anita Renfro? If you get the chance, get her DVDs. She is an amazing Christian comedian.

                  The mom song or mom sense ... much of what a mom deals with and has to say to the kids everyday, set to the William Tell Overture.

                          Mark Lowry is a Christian comedian. He is amazing and sooo funny. He is usually seen many times with the Bill Gaither group. He also has an amazing voice.
