The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

  • Throwing down the gauntlet?

The Iranian opposition have been quoted as saying..
"Obama, Obama, you are either with them, or with us."
I couldn't help but think about Joel Rosenberg's commentary on the anniversary of Iran and the embassy. Is this another one of those times?
Will they see this as more weakness?
So far Obama's comments have been pretty much the same as usual.

But remember. Iran is a "tiny little country that poses no threat to us". Obama, during his campaign.

He as most politicians, like to be ON the fence, not one side or the other.
When Israel is threatened with nuclear action, you can't stay on the fence.
So I'll agree with Iran on this one, you have to declare a side on this issue, and soon.

Agree. Agree with the Iranian opposition, that is. The longer Obama waits to declare himself and state the US's policy regarding the Middle East, the worse the turmoil will get. Long-standing animosity will rear its ugly head and the countries involved will either feel more emboldened because they believe the United States (and the EU) will do nothing, or they may feel more threatened and therefore forced to take unilateral action. I believe Israel feels their only option is the latter, and will indeed take that unilateral action since it may be their only option for national survival.

And then watch the world change overnight.
