The Israel HaYom newspaper reveals a leftist turn for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Speaking in an interview to be published Thursday, the Prime Minister admitted he had come to terms with dividing the Land of Israel. “The land is already divided. How it will [yet] be divided, that is the question,” the newspaper reports.

In the interview, Netanyahu insisted that the new reality required “practical solutions”. “How will the land be divided? Territory-wise, there have been those who predicted the land would be divided according to the 1967 armistice lines, which is not acceptable to me. Israel requires defensible borders.”

If they revert back to pre 1967 borders then they will loose the eastern
part of Jerusalem.

I hope no one minds but I just thought I would throw mho in the mix.
I know this seems strange especially as it would appear to be close but I don't think it will happen.
We know the Temple is going to be built.
We know God said this last time they were assembled He would not let them lose it again(Eze 38 &39). But we also know the Bible states they have divided the land.
So how do you divide the land but not lose it? The West Bank and Gaza. The division spoken of in the Bible has already been done.
I also believe it is their unwillingness to give up Jerusalem(the polls indicate at least 3/4's of Israeli do not agree with giving up one inch of Jerusalem) that will be their redemption(for lack of a better word, sorry) and the reason for Eze 38 and all those countries coming against them.
When the world enters the seven year period, Jerusalem will be totally and completely in the hands of Israel.
But that is jmvho.

39Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
Joel 3:2?

1For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

2I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land

They cast lots for my people
and traded boys for prostitutes;
they sold girls for wine
that they might drink.

I would keep Netanyahu in your prayers, he is up against very liberal opposition and may be growing weak from it and is giving in. My prayers have been for God to make him strong to stand against this opposition and not give in and to have wisdom and stand strong. I am not in his shoes, it's very tough there and I can't imagine it but again I pray for him to be strong and have wisdom and stand up against these thugs who wan't to divide Israel.

Yes Daniel 11:36-39 and Joel 3:1-2 are key here.
