My father was apparently on part of the Inchon raid. I didn't get all the details from him. But he told me several stories about the Korean War. None of them were pleasant, that's for certain. I can't imagine going through what he went through there.
He was a Sgt. First Class in the U.S. Army.

He talked about how cold it was. One night he was sent out to secure some tanks that had been left on the battlefield. He said it was a moonlit night and the frozen ground was littered with thousands of bodies. I met some of the men who served with him a few years ago.
