The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

    King and Prime Minister to broker Middle East peace

    Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and King Juan Carlos of Spain have spoken with the president of Palestine about how Spain could play a role in bringing peace to the Middle East region.

    Zapatero, suggested that Spain could help Palestine by acting as a tripartite between the US President Barack Obama and Prime Minister of Israel Binyamin Netanyahu when they meet to talk in New York from September 24-26th.

    Foreign Minister Moratinos will follow through with the Spanish promise to aid the Middle East peace talks by travelling to the region during the first week of September before heading to New York to the General Assembly of the United Nations.

    As Spain holds the current presidency of the EU (Jan 1st 2010) it is hoped that once the countries are talking the EU can step in and help resolve the problems in the Middle East.

    The US and Israel need a tripartite. That can't be good.

      I can't lose sight who was behind the funding that brought Obama to Chicago.........the Coalition on Human Development...a Catholic organization, who happens to also fund voter registration.

      KJC is a Catholic king who just hosted over 200 reps from the world's religions the past two summers in Madrid for the world's first inter-religiou ssummit (July 2008, 2009) This global summit was called for by the Pope and Saudi king so how did Spain's king end up hosting it?

      Not to be forgotten he holds the title bestowed on Catholic kings by the Pope of King of Jerusalem, defender of holy catholic land interests and ZENET just announced Vatican/Catholic negotiations on land interests in Israel are moving forward...now he is getting into the mix between Israel and Obama.

      An interesting time..........and scenario!

        It is interesting how "religion" is being brought back slowly into the picture.
        Rick Warren and others at Devos a few years ago plus the statements by Blair recently.
        Slowly we are getting there.
