The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

    Just remember
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it......

I watched that last night. The president is supposed to serve US...not the other way around. I'm so upset/shocked that people are raising him up to a deity status.

Can't deny that these are the end days.

        Re: Obama - The Pledge

        Are you kidding me?

"I pledge to be a servant to Barak Obama"

"I pledge to not flush the toilet on a single use"

"I pledge not to use plastic bags at the grocery store"

Amazing how GREEN got in here with all the other gobbily gook. Now all the kids can go home from school and dictate to their parents the correct way to live...........and tell them that they must support their president.

        This is beyond..........beyond.

        I'm almost at a loss for words...............almost.

It may not be a joke, because I saw this idea promoted somewhere before on one of those goofy GREEN ADS.

If I had children in school......they would definately be staying home that day. The last thing parents need are more brainwashed kids that lecture them at the dinner table.

I did not know that. I'm even more glad now that tee vee isn't even in our house other than a limited amount of news and an occassional DVD.

My wife, a schoolteacher, told me yesterday that if the school forces the students to participate in this, she will refuse and stay home. She asked me if she could retire next week. I said "of course".

This is really beyond all comprehension.

I hear you, I am SO close to turning the cable off because I don't watch TV any more and I can get videos instead. I have to turn programs off quite often because of the messages in the "kids" programs, I used to yell at the TV on news shows, now I yell at the commercials on the kids shows. LOL The only thing is I have a "bundle" and dropping the cable tv off, raised the the internet and phone cost and ends up a wash. (I only get basic cable) The other thing that keeps me from breaking off is I do like to turn the cable news on for a couple programs and following breaking news.

I am back in school to finish my degree so I can teach, should the Lord tarry...you would not believe the "indoctrination" in the college texts. My kids have always been frustrated when I read their texts because I point out falsehoods and twisted "facts". I even withdrew one son from public school over their Social Studies textbook and home schooled him that year. But the college texts are full of the same "hidden agendas" like global warming-it's interwoven into books in their examples. Those with "eyes to see and ears to hear" can see the evil behind this. I'd quit, but if the Lord tarries, if I can reach ONE student with the truth, it'll be worth it. For 8th grade, my kids had the same "curious" spelling word list, my youngest son brought the same one home this week-now my kids are spread out from 29 years to 13 and this list raised flags so I remember the list, it has political words such as, "Reactionary-a person with conservative views who reacts strongly to political issues". What is the image...a "liberal" is not reactionary. The other words are activist, protest, anarchy, etc and the definitions are pro-liberal and conservatives are trouble makers. I have fun with making sentences out of them.

It's done because children don't have a frame of reference (as you know) to distinguish between these propaganda items and the older textbooks for education.

The NEA has long been used to reshape American children and they are at it day in, day out.

I used to think it was just hype. It isn't.

I went back and relistened to it and it appears it is part of the pledge.
10 years ago we would have known this was a big joke, but I am
afraid to say it appears to be for real.
