    Re: San Diego Pictures

I couldn't get the second link to work.

On the third link, the 5th row of pictures, is the Coronado Bridge. Right as you come off the bridge onto Coronado, the first set of buildings is where the hospital where I was born used to be. they tore it down several years ago and built an office building, from what I hear. My mom and dad were only in San Diego for a short time, and when she was visiting him on the island, I was born a month and a half early!

I spent time at Horton Plaza and the Spanish Village when I was on cruises to Ensenada, and also went to Catalina Island.

I didn't see any Sea World pictures -- they must not have been able to get a copyright on them. When my son and I went on a missions trip to Baja, we stayed in San Diego one night on the way, and then spent a few days on the way back. We stayed in the old Italian section ... I think it is the same as or right next to the Gaslamp district, right Lewis?

Val, the new ball park is between the bridge and the Gaslamp .......
Little Italy is a small neighborhood about a mile further west on the Bay front.

what people don't realize is that the downtown waterfront faces almost South and Point Loma actually points due South........

Ah, it was the Little Italy section that we stayed in. One of the best Italian meals we've ever had, but can't remember the name. they've built the new stadium since I've been down there.
