Re: Federal Reserve Says Disclosing Loans Will Hurt Banks

The reason I posted this is that Ray Gano in his newsletter seemed to be implying that the Fed might be retaliatory if forced to divulge this information. I wasn't sure what he was talking about or if this ties in to anything Glen Beck has been talking about this week?

Re: Federal Reserve Says Disclosing Loans Will Hurt Banks

The Fed’s board of governors asked Manhattan Chief U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska to delay enforcement of her Aug. 24 decision that the identities of borrowers in 11 lending programs must be made public by Aug. 31. The central bank wants Preska to stay her order until the U.S. Court of Appeals in New York can hear the case.

“The immediate release of these documents will destroy the board’s claims of exemption and right of appellate review,” the motion said. “The institutions whose names and information would be disclosed will also suffer irreparable harm.”

The Fed’s “ability to effectively manage the current, and any future, financial crisis” would be impaired, according to the motion. It said “significant harms” could befall the U.S. economy as well. .......

The Fed has refused to name the financial firms it lent to or disclose the amounts or the assets put up as collateral under the emergency programs, saying disclosure might set off a run by depositors and unsettle shareholders.......

Experience in the banking industry has shown that when customers and market participants hear negative rumors about a bank, negative consequences inevitably flow,” Norman Nelson, vice president and general counsel for the group, said in the document. “Our members have accessed the discount window with the understanding that the Fed will not disclose information about their borrowing, especially their identity.”
First, imho, the Fed will either 1.) Not be forced to disclose anything they don't want to or 2.) they will, but they will fanagle a way to talk a lot of words but not say anything. What I bolded in the last paragraph I quoted, is interesting. Is it assumed that what will come out in this law suit is negative?

The whole "world system" is a sham. It is ungodly. It is used by God to keep things running because without any government or controls, humans would destroy themselves in short order. It is the fruit of selfishness which, without Christ, is all there is. Selfishness is THE opposite of godliness because it is rooted in pride; the original cause of the fall in that garden in the East of Eden some 60 centuries ago (Gen.2:8). In selfishness there cannot be love for love is of God.

      1 John 4:
      7
*¶Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 *He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

This whole Federal Reserve/World Bank/IMF/ thing is a HUGE machination to transfer wealth from the masses to the elite, largely through fiat. It is an amazing time to be alive. It is amazing to see what we are seeing right now.

This song/video says all of what is important as believers, imvho:

      Issachar
The church is on Earth to save souls from a lost world, not to save the world from lost souls.

Man learns about history, not from history. To learn from history requires wisdom. Cut off from God, he has none, so history repeats; no new thing under the sun.

I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken - dylan

Psalms 122:8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

Well my bank has a new trick. Seems to me they are desperate. If you have a loan of any kind with the bank, car, mortgage, anything. And if you have any money in any other account such as checking or saving. And if you are a few days late in making the payment, they take it. Without notification or consideration of over drafting the account. This happened to my daughter last week resulting in $300+ in overdraft fees. And it just happened to me, resulting in $300+ in over draft fees in my account. My protection plan is to move all my income accounts to another bank tomorrow. I would be very careful where your money is and who has access to it. I would not trust your local bank.

As for the first part, I remember a video you posted of Bernake saying he did not have too answer any question as they aren't a branch of the government.
As for the second part, I agree.

Thanks for the input, i agree with all that all of you have said. As I have also heard you say in the past, God is in control and we are going to have to wade through a whole lot of deception to understand how God wants us to react and or address these things as they come up. I am so glad that I depend on The Truth that is in the Word for guidance. I still am sleeping well at night and it's not because of financial independence, I don't have financial independence; but I know the Truth and The Truth has set me free.

Good response, truthseeker. I am going through a time of being terribly angry. I saw the fix I am currently in coming several years ago and did everything in my power to set things straight. Between the news, real estate appraising, and this board, I knew exactly what was coming. Knowing that God is in control and continued prayer is all that is keeping me acting outwardly composed.

Re: Federal Reserve Says Disclosing Loans Will Hurt Banks

Psalm 91, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in Him will I trust.

                Proverbs-3:

5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart and lean not to thy own understanding.

6: In all thy ways acknoweldge Him and He shall direct thy paths.

                Psalm 4:

8: I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Whatever happens, we need to remember that God is still on the Throne and Prayer Changes Things..and we need to encourage one another with psalms and hymns. The spirit of antichrist is here in this world and getting stronger but we have Christ in our hearts and that's what matters the most.

                God Bless
