Very true. I think that there were smaller groups out of the whole that could understand each other after God confounded their language. That's why groups of people would go off together. What do you think?

Last night and this morning I kept thinking about the statement

then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them

plus the attitudes of the hearts. Comparing where they were then and where the world is now. It is such a perplexing statement.
Dependence on God and the belief we can do all things in our own strength. Even the unsaved world, at one time, would acknowledge "God willing" but now it is all about us.
In the church today it is all about what we can do and not what God can do for us.
Wow when was the last time I heard "God willing". I have to wonder if...

Has little to do with, what we actually can do but the attitude in the heart that we can, diminishing our acknowledged dependence on something or someone other then ourselves. Just some thoughts.
