Mandatory Vaccines and Production Limitations
While some states already have statutes allowing consideration of mandatory vaccination procedures in pandemic situations, the likelihood of everyone being forced to be immunized at the moment is low because of the limited production capabilities of vaccine manufacturers.

Since 2004, the Federal Government has been funding projects that will help to increase the long-term storage potential and maximize productions of vaccines.


Many companies are competing for government contracts in excess of $1 billion to develop new, faster, more stable technologies.If availability is no longer limited, it will become quite feasible for the government to order mandatory vaccinations.



It is important to note, however, that while many states reserve the authority for this action-- most will include religious exemption options (perhaps with quarantine requirements) and most will consider this a last resort response.Also, consider how many people will be scrambling to get the shot voluntarily, we may not have to worry about mandatory vaccination. On June 26, Forbes.com ran an article responding to U.S. Health officials claims that they are aiming at a massive vaccination campaign, perhaps beginning this fall.
Widespread mandatory vaccinations could become a real threat due to the advancing technologies during the H1N1 pandemic.
The alternative to vaccination in some states could be in-home quarantine or even fines.

Vaccination Risks
Commonly cited risks for all vaccines include:

fever
malaise
fatigue
headache
swelling
muscle aches
itching
irritation
nausea
vomiting
rash

Some vaccines have been known to cause seizures, encephalopathy, anaphylaxis and a debilitating illness called Guillain-Barre syndrome.


The LA Times, in their article Swine flu 'debacle of 1976 recalls that about 500 developed Guillain-Barre syndrome shortly after injection with the vaccine. The vaccine was also responsible for 25 deaths.



You may be compelled to think that vaccines have come a long way since then, but that's not necessarily true. The risks today are about the same for vaccines.

The last swine flu vaccine:

killed 1 in 1.6 million (comparable to today's statistics)
1 in 80,000 developed GBS (the yearly flu shot carries a risk of 1 in 1 million)

As such, we can expect nearly 75 cases of vaccine-caused GBS with a 25% US vaccination rate, and about 75 vaccine-related deaths. With 98% coverage, the US death toll from the vaccine may be around 282 people, as with those statistically expected to develop GBS.

Consider, too, that these statistics are "per shot" and two doses will likely be required. As such, it may be more reasonable to expect a death toll of 500+ from the vaccine and equal rates of people developing GBS with 98% vaccine coverage.

Not too bad, unless you or someone you love is among the 1000+
-- or if the whole swine flu thing turns out to be a big scare over a mild illness... like it was in the 70's.

None of these risks take into account the potential dangers associated with contamination as a result of poor laboratory and handling procedures, or the risks associated with using an unlicensed adjuvant that hasn't been properly tested.
According to new statistics released by the CDC, the current death rate in the US from the novel influenza 2009 type A virus is about .001% of confirmed cases. Many cases have been unconfirmed or have resulted in illness so minor as to never have been reported. The probable rate of death is closer to .0001% in the US.

What does this all mean, and what can you do?
If the government grants itself the authority to have foreign and potentially life-threatening substances injected in your body and your children's, then you have essentially lost the right to liberty and, if you should suffer a fatal reaction, the right to LIFE.

Perhaps religious exemptions will be in effect but at what cost? The difficulty in obtaining these exemptions may lead many unaware citizens to accepting the shot simply because it's easier. Also, these exemptions may only be allowed if you agree to be quarantined in your home.
Remember, the safety studies currently available about immunizations are for specific age groups and still not extensive enough to truly justify widespread vaccine use. In the event of mandatory vaccination for an entire population of people with various health and life conditions, THERE WILL BE MANY THOUSANDS OF ADVERSE REACTIONS.

If states grant themselves this authority based on faulty science and fear, then the society you live in will absolutely no longer be a "free society." You should be outraged, whether you support immunization or not.

What should you do? Check out your state's plan. Monitor it regularly. Ensure that your state and your government does not take away your right to your own body and livelihood.

There is somethimng "fishy" about this whole swine flu thing............I should say this whole "human/bird/swine" flu thing..from the beginning I have been concerned about mandatory vaccinations

I remember the swine flu scare in the 70s...........and the vaccines

Had a friend call and tell me this AM that they had heard that a chip would be administered with the vaccine dose so that those who refused could be tracked and incarcerated. I did a search and haven't come across that on anything except ********.....

Swine Flu Vaccine More Dangerous Than Flu Itself

"The Baxter vaccine, called Celvapan, has had fast track approval. It uses a new vero cell technology, which utilizes cultured cells from the African green monkey. This same animal tissue transmits a number of vaccine-contaminating viruses, including the HIV virus.

The Baxter Company has been associated with two deadly scandals. The first event occurred in 2006 when hemophiliac components were contaminated with HIV virus and injected in tens of thousands of people, including thousands of children. Baxter continued to release the HIV contaminated vaccine even after the contamination was known.

The second event occurred recently when it was discovered that Baxter had released a seasonal flu vaccine containing the bird flu virus, which would have produced a real world pandemic, to 18 countries. Fortunately, astute lab workers in the Czech Republic discovered the deadly combination and blew the whistle before a worldwide disaster was unleashed.

Despite these two deadly events, WHO maintains an agreement with Baxter Pharmaceuticals to produce the world’s pandemic vaccine.

Novartis, the second contender, also has an agreement with WHO for a pandemic vaccine. Novartis appears to have won the contract, since their vaccine is near completion. What is terrifying is that these pandemic vaccines contain ingredients, called immune adjuvants that a number of studies have shown cause devastating autoimmune disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and lupus.

Animal studies using this adjuvant have found them to be deadly. A study using 14 guinea pigs found that when they were injected with the special adjuvant, only one animal survived. A repeat of the study found the same deadly outcome. . . . "

I've been reading about this so called "vaccine" for a while. When I was working as an RN, I got a flu shot every year. You can believe that this is one shot I will NOT be getting. It is very very odd, and the connection to the African green monkey is very alarming.
