The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

    A sign that the Obama administration is willing to publicly challenge Egypt's commitment to parliamentary democracy: various Middle Eastern news sources report that the administration insisted that at least 10 members of the Muslim Brotherhood, the country's chief opposition party, be allowed to attend his speech in Cairo on Thursday. The brotherhood is a Salafist/ Islamist party with branches in many countries, and it does not have a reputation for liberalism and has supported violent campaigns against Israel (and Egypt's own government).

        Why does that logo look so familiar? Seems I have seen it somewhere before, or something like it? I think I am going to go have a pepsi, and see if I can figure out where I have seen it before.

            Believe me, Karen struggled with that P&C, but had to buy the Diet Cherry Pepsi anyway because it's SO good.
            I think she's under the spell......
            When is he going to get the part about muslims NOT wanting to meet us halfway on anything?
            I mean, he's one of them, shouldn't he know that they want world domination for allah, plain and simple. Anything outside of that is subject to a jihadist blowing things up.

                Good one, make mine a Retro Pepsi (made with real sugar).

                I continue to be amazed at how popular Obama is in other countries.
