The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

    Re: Gasoline Prices Revisited

It was 3.70 here. I think if it keeps going up and does cause major problems to our weak economy, I will have to dust off my shopping cart and start taking it to the supermarket like years ago and leave the car home lol. It will be a long walk but, it may happen..

Hey cornerstone, for years I've said (and it might be true soon ) that if I could get by in society by walking everywhere and just have a donkey for sorta kinda companionship and carry stuff for me, I'd do it.

        Re: Gasoline Prices Revisited

Well, we've been hovering around $3.85 to $3.89 for a while now .. then tonight, at the cheap station, it is $3.99. So I suppose tomorrow when I go past the Shell station I usually reference, it'll be like $4.05 or $4.09.

Glenn Beck today, was going over a list of everyday items and what percent more they cost than one year ago. I remember that flour was one of them and it was up 24%. Most of these common items were up a lot of percent. Makes me wonder if the government is going to start releasing inflation data, instead of 1.9% not including food & energy (because no one uses those things anyway?), they'll be saying something like 1.4% not including food, energy, flour, coffee, electricity, blah, blah, blah ....

This "world's" foundation seems to be deceit.

Here in Central California we've been paying $4.059 at our cheapest gas stations.

Well .. late yesterday, the 28th, we went up to $4.15.

It's not "just speculators" as the P.R. arm (ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, FOX, CNN, etc.) of the one world order would try to have us believe. It's inflation, brought to you each morning by our very own central bank .. the FED.

Hey .. oil company exec's have a standard of living to maintain too, ya know ...

I'll agree, beachfront property in Miami South Beach is expensive with this economy and all...or buying your own island (you do know you can do that).
Thankfully I have to pay gas in 1 car, the other one I drive daily is for work and that gas it paid for. Well it's paid for, but I still pay to use it. Kinda complicated but at the price I pay, and the price of gas now, I'm coming out ahead. This has on the other hand caused us to park the newer of the 2 cars (the 07 Saturn) and bring out the 2000 Neon, since it gets better gas mileage. Sure it's smaller, but it sips gas, and it's easier to park.

20 cents away...for the low grade.
I bet if we all get together we can push it over 4 dollars.
