    Paul was released after 2 years in prison in Rome and went on at least two more missionary journeys. Some insist he went to Spain when he left Rome.
    ....... he was a very old man when killed by Rome.

    The commentary in my Bible lists the following itinerary for Paul's Fourth Missionary Journey, based on verses in the Pastoral letters.

    Rome- released from prison in 62 AD
    Spain- 62-64 (Ro 15:24,28)

    Miletus- 65 (2 Tim 4:20)
    Colosse- 66 (Phm 22)
    Ephesus- 66 (1Ti 1:3)
    Philippi- 66 (Php 2:23-24; 1Ti 1:3)
    Nicololis- 66-67 (Tit 3:12)
    Rome- 67 (2Ti 1:17)
    Martyrdom- 67/68 (2Ti 4:6)
