The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

Pope Sees World Controllers As Made Up Of A Few Powerful People
Pope Benedict XVI warned diplomats at the United Nations on Friday that international cooperation needed to solve urgent problems is "in crisis" because decisions rest in the hands of a few powerful nations. While he didn't identify the countries that have a stranglehold on global power, the German pope—just the third pontiff to address the U.N. General Assembly—addressed long-standing Vatican concerns about the struggle to achieve world peace and the development of the poorest regions. On the one hand, he said, collective action by the international community is needed to solve the planet's greatest challenges. On the other, "we experience the obvious paradox of a multilateral consensus that continues to be in crisis because it is still subordinated to the decisions of a few."

The Catholic Church is power hungry and wants to be the only one. The RCC has murdered millions in the past. The RCC has robbed millions in the past with its mandatory tithes. It seems like this is the pot calling the kettle black. So how are they treating little boys and girls today?

Just imagine how much poverty would be alleviated in some of the poorest nations if the Roman Catholic Church would sell off all its properties, gold, silver and precious gems and give all that to the poor...
