The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

    In this economy especially, I agree. There still needs to be competitive bidding between U.S. firms though.

      I agree as well, if they can find something that's US that's actually MADE in the US.
      We have contracts with many companies, and you'd be amazed at how many products we have made outside the US, and we are part of the gov't!
      It's local gov't, but still...
      And we are supposed to support "local" companies.
      But we take bids on vehicles from dealerships hundreds of miles away, outside of our county!
      I'd love to believe that buying US goods will help us out, and maybe it will, but those in power of Purchasing these items, MUST purchase them from companies that make their products here.

        Strange times, I actualy agreeing with Hillary Clinton. I agree with Bobby
        with our economy like it is our goverment needs to buy American made
        products if possible.

          There are also potential National Security issues with regards to military equipment. That is of at least equal concern, too. It could open up our troops / sailors / pilots to enemy harm.
