The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

Let's pray that he now truly knows the One True God-that would be great news!

All he did was turn from one false religion (Islam) to another (Roman Catholicism) like jumping from the fire onto the greased frying pan.

It is good that he came to believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life!

CS-- I think this board has gone there before and I'm not looking to stir up another hornet's nest, but to make a blanket statement that all Roman Catholics are not Christians (false religion) is not right. I know some Catholics who I believe truly know the Lord; I believe He has His true remnant woven throughout all of the denominations.

              ----

In reading the news article, nowhere was God or Jesus mentioned. The things that stood out for me were:

_ converted to Catholicism Saturday in a baptism by the pope.

              _ married to a Catholic.

_ Pope Benedict XVI poured holy water over Allam's head.

_ He later received his first Communion.

_ Benedict opened by blessing a white candle.

_ he would have no problem converting to Christianity. He said he had even received Communion once — when he was 13 or 14 — "even though I knew it was an act of blasphemy, not having been baptized."

Just because this person defended Israel's right to exist doesn't mean he's right on the mark concerning his conversion which I believe was a conversion to Roman Catholicism. If it were me and I was truly saved, I would have no part in Pope Benedict XVI baptizing me, no part whatsoever. Yes, there are Roman Catholics who are the Lord's. Too bad, they're still rooted in that false religion. It would be better if they had left that harlot religious system like former Roman Catholic Mike Gendron, now a pastor of a true Christian church.

Please note that I didn't say all Roman Catholics are unsaved.

Ok. We've been down this road a few times regarding Catholicism. It just sickens me every time we, as a Board, get into bashing other churches. Instead of being critical, there ought to be praise that God has brought a Muslim into His Kingdom--whether or not you like the color, stripe or anything else about the denomination.
