The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

In Christ alone,
Andy

I agree that 70 billion would be quite useful for some things ...

I'd like to point out an interesting piece of data though (I'm in process now of locating documentation for it. You can take it for what it's worth until I find it.). A speaker at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention approximately 4-5 years ago, stated that the churches in America (he was including any and all that claim to be Christian, I'm sure) take in about 121 billion dollars per year with as much as 16 billion not properly accounted for.

The "policeman of the world" thing is merely the building of the NWO which we all know will come ....... actually, is coming.

The Monroe Doctrine, while fine in theory, could not touch the real power behind the scenes ...... banking. European/English and American bankers never noticed that there was something called the American Revolutionary War.

Also, look up Teddy Roosevelt's "exceptions" to the Monroe Doctrine when it came to economic policies in the Carribean countries. It's always "follow the money" in matters pertaining to this "world".

Just think how many people that money would feed, clothe and shelter. We wouldn't have any homeless people any more. I am really sick of being the policemen of the world. Especially since they don't seem to give a flip one way or the other. I say: Monroe Doctrine today!

I never imagined they'd bankrupt the whole country in a single Presidency. And here we are. We went from bad to crash mode. Get ready for 2008. I wish I could be in better shape for next year, but the housing ccrash got me too.

    From the article:

“WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Democratic lawmakers and staffers privately say they're closing in on a broad budget deal that would give President Bush as much as $70 billion in new war funding.”

Just think what $70 billion would do if it was used to help evangelize the world.
