Although the APEC meetings don't start until the end of the week all the major players are in Sydney today?????? Including the president of China Putin and Bush.
This something I do not remember ever happening before. Something is up.

Most definitely. But what and why, would they be taking such unusual steps to have an unofficial summit before the official summit.
