The End of MWM

Greetings all,

Letting everyone know that after somewhere around 28 years, when our annual hosting expires on 08/24/2025, Millennium Weekend Ministries we will not be renewing. Lack of interest for the past many years makes it clear to Esther and me that it does not make any sense to continue to keep the site running.

Many thanks to the handful of folks that have stuck it out with us. Perhaps very soon we shall all meet when we hear the glorious voice of our Savior calling us home to the Father's house. Certainly any who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, repenting with a "broken and contrite heart" (Ps 34:18 and 51:17) will find mercy and will indeed be caught up together to meet our Savior in the air.

What a glorious day that will be.

    ME men w/explosives stopped in SC

    breaking story - charleston sc police made a routine traffic stop and found explosives in a vehicle - 2 middle eastern men in the car. incl fuses and igniters.
    this story hasnt been updated yet but on cnn they said the explosives had been safely destroyed.

      update:
      Berkeley County sheriff's Lt. Vince Lombard said the men were being held pending a charge of unlawful possession of an explosive device.

      Lombard would not say what the device was or what it was that bomb technicians from neighboring Charleston County exploded at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

        If they brought in the bomb squad, my guess is they didn't have bottle rockets!
        I agree, thank God they were caught.
        WE here on WEDG keep telling others, that something is coming.
        Yet it seems like the WH and others are just on vacation.
        They care more about Brittney and Paris than they do our safety.
        Neither one of those girls are of my concern, but our safety is!
        I will continue to pray daily, that our safety is maintained, as long as God wills it.
        And hopefully, based on those of us faithful that are praying for it.

          the story was breaking news on cnn and they said the suspects were two middle eastern men.

          but then it all but disappeared, and the online story has no mention of "middle eastern"

            Right, that's usually how it goes.
            Then it becomes "visitors to our country, UNAWARE of our laws on weapon
            possession."
            Why are "we" trying to sabotage ourselves?
            I don't get it.
            If we leave these people alone, they won't attack us anyway?
            These nuts believe they have to take over the world for allah, and rule it with his laws.
            The BELIEVE this so strongly, they kill for it!
            Yet everyone else feels that appeasement is the answer.

              It always makes my blood pressure shoot up when I hear people making
              excuses for these terriorist. The media is afraid to make a big deal
              about someone driving around with a BOMB,
              I think is a major issue when anyone has explosives, not something
              most of us carry around with us. The fact the two ME men with
              explosives were near a military facility is a problem and deserves
              to reported. Once again our news outlets fail us.
