I've been away the last 3 weeks and don't know if this was mentioned/posted.
I just listened to a sermon ( Oct. 18 ) from Harvest Family Fellowship and he talked about the Hakhel Ceremony they ( Sanhedrin ) had in Jerusalem on Oct. 15th. Fascinating! http://www.harvestreno.org/messages.asp We are getting CLOSE!! ping:

It always amazes me how fast a thread can become page 2 or 3 etc on this board.
![]() This is a big NO! NO! to let this thread slip away. This is truly exciting to listen to, to see the photo's of the Priestly gowns, instruments, etc. Please take the time to listen to this message. You only have to listen to the first quarter of the message, not the entire thing. This is real exciting and I just need to bump this thread up. Thank you Judy Ann for bringing this up to our attention. |

This was good, but his butchery of the Hebrew language and his lack of understanding Jewish Law made it less powerful than it should have been. It seems that it was a big joke to him. He had everyone laughing as if this is not really a serious thing.
He may have found a good piece of news, but he has no idea what it means. He needs to read the Talmud (especially laws related to Sanhedrin and Tamid). If he had done so, he would not be poling fun at this, he would have been shaking out of control. The hasidim did not do this because they just had the day off and had nothing better to do. They did it specifically on this day for a specific reason. That meaning goes back seven years. His facts are incorrect that the Sanhedrin formed last year. I has been a number of years. I believe that they are preparing to elevate a Tabernacle shortly. The public wearing of priestly garments is the first step toward sacrifice. After sacrifice will come the cleansing of the Mount. Then, they will set up a Tabernacle (prior to a Temple). This is well understood from hasidic sources. They are fully prepared to erect a Tabernacle. It is done and ready to set up. The question is this: Has someone told them that the door will be open soon due to the current peace talks (that are ongoing behind the scenes)? Remember these clues: 1. The Hasidim are most fervent about the soon coming of the Messiah. 2. They believe that a holy place and a sanctuary must be set up prior to the coming of the Messiah. 3. They believe that the Messiah himself will oversee the building of the Temple. 4. Nicholas Sarkosy (of France) is currently part of the Hasidic community in France. He is from an ultra-Orthodox family of origin. The Hasids have accepted him with open arms. This whole thing was done in light of the end of a Shamitah cycle. They have started a new seven-year cycle at this time. That is the most shocking element in this whole thing. They don't just believe in a seven-year period of testing in the Later Days, they believe that the testing will start at the beginning of a new Shamitah cycle. That cycle has now begun. They believe that at the beginning of the seven year cycle they will set up a sanctuary. Remember this. Sanctuaries are ALWAYS dedicated during Hanukkah. Hanukkah is next month. Are we THAT CLOSE? Only they know.... Watch them carefully. Most of the hasidics believe that the Tabernacle will first be set up in Shiloh. That's where David had it set up at first. Then, he moved it to the mount. Some hasids believe that THE MESSIAH HIMSELF WILL BE PART IN THE MOVEMENT FROM SHILOH TO THE MOUNT. Keep your eyes open.... This was no accident. Great find. I just wish he would have known how serious this was. Bob |

Remember this: the Hasidics are among the most calculating individuals on earth. Nothing is done by accident. Everything is done on a schedule -- absolutely everything.
What does this all mean? I don't know. I used to have connections deep within the Chicago hasidic movement. I don't any longer. I wish I still did because they would openly talk to me. I have sat through prayer on the Sabbath. I have spent considerable time with them. I will search some of their websites to see what I can dig up about this. If I find out anything I will report back. Bob |

Good information TorahTips and bring us some more nuggets! My wife and I listened to this the day after he gave it and were very inspired, although it was not all new to us and we recognized some of the same errors! I thought about posting it but got caught up in following the election instead!
Steve Hadley definitely means well and has a heart for the Lord and more importantly is looking for His possible soon return! As with most Calvary Chapel pastors, this is the case. They are usually very interesting individuals, who the Lord choses, and the world would say they are the least likely to be able to teach! They tend to be like the Galatians by the world's standards and although trained at Chuck Smith's school do not generally have college degrees and advanced study in the scriptures. The world would call them hillbillies, white trash, rednecks, etc., terms I use because even though college trained I was born in KY and qualify in some way on all of these counts! To me, this however, makes them more genuine and believable! I have attended several Calvarys and this is what I have observed first hand! For all of these reasons they tend to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance more because they know their limitations. So, in summary, Steve means well and I would suggest emailing him on some of these issues and I feel he would be glad to set the record straight and use more caution in his discussions! |

Dear Bob; Thanks for your comments. I agree totally with your indication that the Orthodox community is about to launch a Tabernacle system. I have visited Shilo numerous times. For me it has been the most moving location in Israel ...where Samuel heard the voice of God etc. There is a beautiful synagogue in Shilo built up on top of the hill overlooking the ancient site. It is built in Tabernacle architectural style. Most readers do not recognize that this whole area is deep inside the West Bank and likely to be forcibly evacuated to facilitate a new PA state.
I would respectfully differ with you concerning the location that will be chosen for this gathering of priests around a restored Tabernacle. It is likely to be at Gilgal down near the Jordan River just north of the Dead Sea. That is where the nation first entered the Promised Land, and where the nation was repeatedly called for spiritual renewal. Regards, HSB |

I cannot argue against your belief that Gilgal might be the place. Hasids differ on this point also. However, most of them do not believe that the first place of the Tabernacle will be on the Temple Mount. Most believe that the Messiah (false Messiah in our case) will move it to the Temple Mount. All believe that a Tabernacle will precede the building of the Temple. The greatest majority believe that the Messiah himself will oversee the building of the Temple. The prospect of the erecting of a Tabernacle should cause us to believe that the days may be shorter than we think. It is done and can be set up at any time. Bob |
